River Cloud II

Due to the popularity of River Cloud, Sea Cloud Cruises built River Cloud II in 2001. River Cloud II is an 88-passenger luxurious river vessel and one of the finest river vessels in the world. With just 30 twin cabins and 14 suites she is extremely spacious. Furnishings and fabrics have been carefully chosen to reflect the glories of a bygone maritime tradition. Facilities on board include a boutique, hairdresser, hospital, panoramic lounge and single sitting restaurant. Outside there is a large sun deck, shuffleboard and large-scale chess board.

Cabins

The cabins on board have a Mediterranean elegance with fine woods and fabrics. The harmonious surroundings extend to the bathrooms with marble sinks, spacious showers and gold-plated taps. Cabins feature individual climate control, a television and video, safe, radio and direct-dial telephone. In addition each cabin has a selection of non-alcoholic drinks which are available free of charge during the cruise. Various toiletries, a bath robe and hairdryer are also provided. Category C and B cabins located on the Cabin Deck measure 118 sq. feet. The cabins feature two port holes and two single beds which in category B cabins can be combined into a double bed. The Junior Suites measure 150 sq. feet with floor to ceiling windows and sitting areas.

On board, the kitchen team will indulge you with delectable dishes, with local ingredients fresh from market. A fine selection of elegant wines from regional vintages accompanies the meals. Open seating reflects the easy atmosphere on board and you may select a different seat at each meal, according to where and with whom you would like to dine. Whether for lunch or dinner, you can look forward to exquisite, Italian-influenced cuisine and fine regional wines selected by first-class chefs included in the cruise price.

Lounge

The classic lounge with its stately Steinway grand piano is the main meeting area on River Cloud II. Guests gather here at the bar on the Promenade Deck for tea-time or for presentations and concerts. In the evenings, the lounge is the perfect setting to let an eventful day come to an end.

Sunbathe undisturbed, read, or just enjoy the passing scenery on the spacious sun deck or sit at the round teakwood tables under the big white umbrellas. A chessboard and two shuffleboard areas await their players. Bath towels and wool blankets are available on deck. When the weather permits, enjoy the delightful luncheon buffets and evening barbeques while sitting outdoors.
